This vintage Timex mechanical wristwatch has a silvered analog dial with bold black Arabic numerals, a fine minute track, and dark central hands. TIMEX appears beneath 12 o’clock and WATERPROOF is printed above 6 o’clock for a clear period utility layout.
The silver-tone round case uses narrow lugs and a dark ridged crown. Its signed back carries period water-, shock-, dust-, and magnetic-resistance wording together with base-metal-bezel and stainless-steel-back markings. The watch requires manual winding.

Vintage condition: A long crack runs vertically through the crystal, which is also heavily scratched, hazy, and soiled. The silvered dial has widespread dark spotting, corrosion-like marks, faded printing, and discoloration around the hands. The case and lugs are scratched, pitted, tarnished, and heavily dulled, with pronounced green oxidation on the exposed spring bars. The attached twine is frayed and dirty. Winding, timekeeping, and water resistance have not been tested. It has no band or strap.
